Jerald "Jerry" David Harris, age 86, of Hartville passed away on Monday morning July 30, 2018. He was born on June 25, 1932 in Ostrander, Ohio to the late David and Marie (Logsdon) Harris. He met and married his sweetheart and the love of his life, Donna Mae Hensley on February 27, 1954. They celebrated 64 years together. He was a Korean War Army veteran. He retired after 40 years of service from Goodyear in 1995. After retirement, he enjoyed working and spending time at Green Hills Golf Course in Brimfield. He loved bowling, golfing and fishing, especially with his sons. Family meant everything to him and his eyes lit up especially when seeing his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Donna; children Kevin (Maria) Harris, Kim (Carl) Hand, Kris (Marty) Harris; grandchildren Benjamin (Natalie) Harris, Brandon (Brittani) Harris, Katie (Tim) Raddish, Melissa (Jeremy) Roberts, Jeremy Hand, Jessica Hand; great grandchildren Bella, Rhys, Brody, Baylee, Bronson, Nora and Everly. He also leaves behind his beloved dog Zach. Calling hours are Tuesday, August 7, 2018, 4-6pm at Arnold Funeral Home Hartville, with a memorial service starting promptly at 6pm at the funeral home.
