Jennie J. Opeka, age 89, passed away on Wednesday August 31, 2022. Born on April 25, 1933 in Barberton, Ohio to the late Joseph and Catherine Meglich. She retired from Acme Fresh Market. She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, woodworking and her grand and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Michael (Connie), Janice Long, Tom (Marita), Steve (Janet), David (Sharon) and Mary Hengle; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Preceded in death by husband of 66 years Frank G. Opeka; daughter Teresa Opeka; and 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

A Memorial Mass will be Friday October 7th at 11:00 AM at Little Flower Catholic Church with Very Rev. Canon Christopher Henyk,

celebrant and receiving will be one hour prior in the church from 10-11 AM.
