Obituary
Jeffrey "Scott" Sutton, 1963-2019, age 55, of Canton, Ohio, died unexpectedly at home Thursday, May 9th, of natural causes. He was the son of D. Jeffrey Sutton (Susan Pucci) of Canton and Carolyn R. Jacob (James) of Massillon. He was a graduate of North Canton Hoover High School (1982) and ETI Technical College, specializing in electronics. He was employed for many years as the IT Coordinator at AAM Metal Form, a division of American Axle Corporation, at their Malvern Manufacturing Facility. For over 40 years Scott was also involved with the Players Guild of Canton, starting at age 12 alongside his parents Jeff and Carolyn, eventually working in a variety of capacities specializing in lighting and sound engineering. He garnered many accolades for his work in Canton, as well as at theaters across Northeast Ohio. He served for several years on the Guild's Board of Trustees and was awarded a Lifetime Membership. He is survived by his parents; brother, Christopher Sutton (Susan) of Canton; brother, Dylan Sutton (Autumn) and nephew, Hendricks Sutton all of Colorado; niece, Stephanie Garrott (Richie) and their children of Bolivar, OH; and life companion of 30+ years, Debra Koyle of the Canton residence. A memorial will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, in the St. Stephen Martyr Lutheran Church with Rev. Dr. Bruce R. Roth officiating. Friends may call 1:00-2:30 p.m. in church Saturday.
