Jeffrey C. Harter, 68, passed away August 18. Jeff was a 1968 graduate of Timken Vocational High School. He went on to serve in the U.S. Navy for 20 years as a crewman on a P3 surveillance aircraft, before returning home to work as a manager at KFC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Myra Harter. Survivors include Linda (Bob) Witmer, Susan (Dave) McDermott, Scott (Diane) Harter, Mary (Mark) Provost, Jerry (Regena) Harter and Tricia Harter. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff and caregivers at the Canton Regency Assisted Living for 15 years of unwavering care and support following a stroke in 2002.
