IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jeffrey C.
Friedman
August 20, 1958 – December 24, 2015
Jeffrey C. Friedman, age 57, was born to Tom and Carol Friedman on August 20, 1958. On December 24, 2015, he was suddenly and unexpectedly called to a better place while in his home in Hartville, where he had resided most of his life.
He was a 1976 Lake High School graduate, while in school; he made friendships that would last his whole life. He had been employed by Botnick Excavating Company for the past 20 years.
Jeff was loving and caring, he had a heart of gold. He was generous with his time; no favor was too great to ask. He knew that the most important things were not things at all. He enjoyed his friends and family and was especially generous to his nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. But mostly, Jeff was fun. He found the humor in everything and shared that gift with those who knew and loved him.
Jeff is survived by parents, Thomas and Carol Friedman of Uniontown; brother, Tom (Debbie) Friedman of Hartville; sisters, Terri (Rick) Combs of Uniontown, Anita (Bill) Bailey of Akron, Sandy (Jeff) Harris of Hartville. He leaves his nieces Jen Gardiner, Autumn Nichols, Ryanne Deering; nephews Tom Friedman III, Chris Combs, Eric Marcinko, Jason and Josh Erb; great nieces, Gabby and Mia Nichols, Callie and Camryn Gardiner, Baylee Marcinko; great nephews, Travis Erb, Jake Nichols, Logan, Jasper and Julian Friedman, Roman and Hudson Deering, Abel Harris and Chase Marcinko. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and many cousins.
Jeff leaves numerous friends; special among them are Steve and Loretta Carnahan, Dick and Ruby Pressler, Ron and Denise Hoff. Shadow, his canine companion, will also share in our grief.
All who knew him would agree, he was a great son, brother, uncle and friend. At the end of the Jeff's visits he would leave with his unique goodbye…"Love Your Guts"
Jeff loved hunting and fishing and spending time around his home. He knew every "Seinfeld" episode down to the last letter. And now you all know that all of Jeff's passwords were "Bosco."
The family asks that you remember Jeff by hugging your kids a little longer, walking your dog a little farther, and enjoy the simple things that gave Jeff joy every day of his life. We "Miss Your Guts, Jeff"
The family will receive friends Wednesday 11:00 -2:00p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. A memorial service will begin at 2:00p.m. on Wednesday with Pastor Jack Coontz II officiating.
