Jeannette V. Careway, age 99, of North Canton passed away on June 12, 2025. She was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on December 25, 1925, to Nelson John and Roberta (Hall) Bosley and graduated from St. Clairsville High School in 1943. Jeannette managed a State Farm Insurance agency for many years and retired from the children's department at Higbee's. She was an active member of Faith United Methodist Church in North Canton.

Jeannette is preceded in death by her husband, Harold J. Careway. She is survived by her children Harold (Faye) Careway and Karen (Alan) Truett; grandchildren  Brian (Kim) Careway, Robert(Andrea) Careway, Megan (Nick) Albu, and Michelle (Nick) Mitchell; great grandchildren Christopher (Kacie) Careway, Julia Careway, Cody Careway, Katelynn Careway, Torben Careway, Ronin Careway, Amanda Careway, Brodie Mitchell, Leila Mitchell-McKimm, Emma Albu, Addalynn Albu, and Penelope Albu;  great-great  grandchildren Kade Careway, Alice Careway and Coast McCullough.

Calling hours will be Monday, June 23, 2025, from 10-11 AM at the Arnold & Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 11 AM in the funeral home. Final resting place is Holly Memorial Gardens in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
