Jeanne N. Warburton, age 86, of North Canton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011 after a brief illness. Born July 28, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late W. Donald Norris and Maude K. Norris-Fyhr, she graduated from Willoughby High School where she is in the Willoughby Sports Hall of Fame and was a member of the W Club. Jeanne attended Hiram College where she met her husband, W. James Warburton and retired as an office manager for his dental practice. She was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church and volunteered for Aultman Hospice and The American Red Cross. She was a talented seamstress who enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing cards and spending time with beloved family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, husband of 50 years W. James Warburton, D.D.S., her sister Natalee (Norris) Cook, brothers-in-law Calvin Hendershott, Thomas I. Holloway, Jr. and Richard Cook, and son-in-law Anthony Swierkowski. She is survived by her three daughters, Susan Swierkowski of San Jose, CA; Stephanie (Charles) Corbitt of Westerville, Ohio and Stacey Warburton of North Canton, Ohio; sister Janet Holloway of North Canton; step-sister Alison Fyhr of Mentor, OH; grandchildren Jason (Stephanie) Brown, Jennifer Brown, M.D., Ph.D., Melissa (Robert) Clemons, Michelle Corbitt, Amanda Corbitt and Marie Corbitt; great-grandsons Heath Porter and Brandon Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, 1720 Schneider St. NW, North Canton, Ohio on Saturday October 1, 2011 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Don Richards officiating.
