Jeanette N. Varner, age 81 of Hartville, went home to be with the Lord and reunite with her loving daughter Jean Thursday May 13, 2010. She was surrounded by her loving family, which was her greatest joy. She was born May 11, 1929 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to Ralph and Susie (Ayer) Plunkett. She is survived by her husband of 64 years Harry E. Varner. She was blessed with 5 loving children, David (Ginny) Varner of Hartville, Stephen (Bobbi) Varner of Newport News, Virginia, Harry (Jodi) Varner Jr. of Hartville and Susan (Gene) Schneider of Marlboro. Jean (Varner) Dick preceded her in death in 2007. Jeanette worked at many jobs throughout her lifetime but enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren and great grandchildren the most. She was blessed with 26 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren who all loved and cared for "Netsy". Jeanette was a member of the Alliance Baptist Temple and shared many enjoyable events there as well as spiritual guidance. She loved playing cards and she loved spending time with family. Calling hours are Sunday 3-5:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. Please celebrate in sharing her life in a service Monday 11 a.m. at the Alliance Baptist Temple 1441 W. Vine Street with Pastor Randy Payne officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services in the church (10-11 a.m.). Private interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Garden.
