Jean Angeline Rice, age 90, was reunited with those who have gone before her, on Friday September 16, 2011. She was born in Dover, Ohio on September 12, 1921 to the late Lester and Daisy (Shively) Ley. She graduated in the first graduating class of Timken Vocational High School in 1940. She retired from the Ohio Bell Telephone Co. in 1983. She was a member of Westbrook Park United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband Charles H. Rice in 1994, brothers Charles Ley and James Ley, sisters Charlotte Lupe and Ruth Adams; she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kay and John "Rick" Parks, grandson and wife Kyle and Katy McDermott, sisters Mary Ellen Wood and Nancy Jane (Elmer) White, and numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Saturday Sept. 24th 10 AM- noon in the Arnold Funeral Home Canton. Funeral services are Saturday 12 noon in the funeral home. Final resting place is Sunset Hills Burial Park.
