Jean F. Nehlen, age 89 of Hartville passed on to be reunited with her husband, Fred, on Sunday March 30, 2008 at Heather Ridge. She was born November 9, 1918 in Canton, and raised by her mother Bessie and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Jones. Jean graduated from McKinley High School. During WW II, she worked at the Timken Company, then married in 1943 and started her family. She was a member of SORISIS, former member of Hartville Garden Club. Jean and Fred were members of the Farm Council and enjoyed dancing at the Moonlight Ballroom, and eating out with friends and traveling. Family always came first. Preceded in death by husband, Fred in 2001; special aunt Dorothy "Dodo" Venier. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Shirley Nehlen of Hartville, Timothy and Diane Nehlen of Hartville; grandchildren Christopher and Michelle Nehlen of Uniontown and Brett Nehlen of Akron; great-grandchildren Isabella and Olivia. Friends may call Thursday 5-8 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home, Hartville and Friday one hour before services 10-11 AM.
