Jean M. Helmick, age 100 years, 11 months and 6 days, of Massillon passed away on Wednesday October 19, 2011 at Legends Care Center. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio the daughter of the late Eleontino and Consiglia (Inforzato) Magnacca. She lived her entire adult life in the Canton/Massillon area. Jean retired from the W.T. Grant Co. as a sales clerk in 1965. Her husband, Clyde W. Helmick, preceded her in death on February 8, 1991. Her sister Gilda and three brothers Edmond, Felix and Yedo also preceded her. Survived by son and daughter-in-law Myron and Bess Fritz, Granddaughter Jennifer Fritz, Grandson and wife Dustin and Bre Fritz, Great-granddaughter Jayden Fritz all of Sacramento, CA, daughter Florence of Massillon, brother and sister-in-law Raymond and Eleanor Manack (Magnacca) of Follansbee, WV, and special nephews and nieces. A memorial service conducted by Fr. Wm. Bantz will be held at Arnold Funeral Home in Canton on Sunday October 30th at 12 noon. Interment in North Lawn Cemetery. No calling hours.
