Jean A. Davis, age 85, of North Canton died peacefully at her home Tuesday morning with her family by her side. Born in Scranton, PA to the late Milton & Naomi (Simon) Williams she had resided here since 1952. She had been secretary to the principal of Central High School in Scranton, PA, and also worked with her husband at Ted J. Davis Interiors. Jean was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church, and had been a volunteer with Meals on Wheels. Jean is survived by her husband of 57 years Ted J. Davis and a son Scott W. Davis both of the residence. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 31, 2009 in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. with Rev. Douglas A. Patton officiating. Entombment will be in the North Lawn Mausoleum.
