Jay C. King, age 88, of Canton, passed away Saturday afternoon in Stone Crossing Care Center. Jay was born in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania to the late Arthur and Mary (Carter) King. He was a lifelong employee of the Bowdil Manufacturing Company, a Navy veteran of WWII, a former volunteer at Aultman Hospital and a member of the 11th Street Church of God. Jay is survived by his loving wife Lillian King of Canton and daughter and son - in-law Jayne and Rocci Primavera of Dublin, Ohio. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, 12 noon in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 710 Tuscarawas St. W. with Rev. Randy M. Shafer officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment in West Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc. 4815 Munson St., N.W. Canton, OH 44718.
