Janice "Jan" A. Heacock (Petty) passed peacefully on October 13, 2011 in Plano, TX. Born in Lancaster, OH on June 30, 1941, Jan was a graduate of Canal Winchester High School and the St. Francis School of Nursing. She is preceded in death by her husband of 29 years Robert "Bob" Heacock, her parents, Viola and Harold D. Petty, Sr. and sister Myrna Petty. Surviving are her loving daughters Sandra (Cliff) Pecaut of Murphy, TX and Cynthia (Keith) Galloway of Pickerington, OH, five grandchildren whom she adored Stephanie, JaMar, Samantha, Austin and Jordan; and her brother Harold D. Petty, Jr. of Grove City, OH and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Her life will be remembered with a private graveside service in Forest Hill Cemetery where she will be laid to rest eternally with her "Butch".
