Janet M. Malson, age 73, of Hartville, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017 with her family by her side. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 9, 1944 to the late John and Mary (Maslar) Watral. Growing up in Garfield Heights she graduated from Marymount, an all girl Catholic High School. She met James Malson, the love of her life, at Kent State University, they married October 5, 1968 and had 3 girls.
She began her career at Roadway and later retired from McKesson Drug Company. During retirement she wintered in St. Pete, Florida. She lived life to it's fullest and kept a full social calendar. She loved going to the beach, golfing, partying, watching sports and attending her grandchildren's favorite activities.
Preceded in death by her husband James in 1995; she is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Christine (Dan) Bates, Carrie (David) Grant, Katy (Jarred) Yoder; grandchildren Randy, Kaylee, Erica, Bryan, Abbie, Sam, Baylor, Lilly, Kassidy, Jonny, Jessy; and numerous loving family members and friends.
Anyone who was blessed to know Janet, knows that she was an inspiration to others because of her resiliency, courage and positive outlook on life. She will be truly missed by all. A service will be held Sunday at 1:00 PM at Evermore Community Church in Hartville with Pastor David Windham officiating. Final resting place is Mount Peace Cemetery. Following interment everyone is invited to join the family at Congress Lake County Club for a celebration of Janet's life with dancing, food and spirits.
A memorial service will be held at St. Raphael Catholic Church in St. Petersburg, Florida on Monday November 13th at 10 AM with Fr. Tim Sherwood officiating and immediately following join the family by celebrating Janet's life at the UATAN Clubhouse in St. Pete, Florida.
