Janet Ellen Johnescu, age 81, of Sebring, passed away Saturday in Crandall Medical Center. Janet was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Raymond and Margaret (Holt) Brown. She was the retired owner of Donut Connection (JJ Donuts) and a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Janet was preceded in death by her husband John "Jack" Johnescu and a sister Barbara Debole. She is survived by a son, John "Jay" (Nancy) Johnescu and daughter, Joan (Tony) Cordillo. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A private service was held in North Lawn Cemetery.
