Janet M. Belden, age 62, died of natural causes in her home in New York City on October 6th. Born in Canton, OH to the late William H. and Jeanne (Geoghegan) Belden, Janet was a 1967 graduate of Central Catholic High School, and graduated from St. Mary's College, Notre Dame in 1971. After thirty years in banking administration she retired from J. P. Morgan Chase in 2003. Janet had a great love for her family and Christmas, was an avid sports fan and particularly loved Notre Dame Football. Janet also had a great love for Broadway, theatre and movies. Janet is survived by her sister: Joan M. Belden of New York, NY. Four brothers: William (Karen) & David Belden both of Canton, Bruce (Janice) Belden of Strasburg, OH, and Thomas (Katy) Belden of Cleveland. Numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, October 18, 2011 in St. Michael's Catholic Church with Fr. Brian Cline as officiant. A private interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the mass in church on Tuesday.
