Jane K. Skelley, age 84, of Canton, died Saturday morning in Aultman Hospital after a brief illness. Jane was born in Canton to the late Clarence & Wanda (Robinson) Keyser; she was a 1942 graduate of McKinley High School, attended Miami University and received her bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University in 1946. For a time she taught home economics. She was a life long member of Church of the Savior United Methodist, also a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, College Club of Canton and Friends of the Library. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Donald W. Skelley in 1988. Jane is survived by her daughter: Mrs. David (Rebecca) Aungst of Grapevine, TX and a son: Ronald (Phyllis) Skelley of N. Royalton, OH. Three grandchildren: Bryan, Brandon and Neil. Four great grandchildren: Bryson, Landon, Sophia, and Gabrielle. Sister: Mrs. Linc (Donna) Fisch of Lexington, KY. Funeral service will be Wednesday 11:00AM in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. with Rev. George W. Roberts officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation 5000 Rockside Woods Rd.
