Jane Fawcett Shipley, age 92, of Canton, Ohio and Indian River Shores Florida died Sunday, September 14th in her home in Canton. Born in Canton, Jane was the daughter of the late Pauline and John Fawcett. She graduated from McKinley High School and Denison University where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Jane was a member of the Canton Garden Club and former member of the Junior League of Canton and the Aultman Women's Board. She was a member of Brookside Country Club, the John's Island Club and former member of the Rolling Rock Club. Jane was preceded in death by her husband Ralph T. Shipley and her brother Hank Fawcett. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Polly and Tom Grafton of Lake Barrington, Illinois, and Bonita Springs, Florida and Nan and John Warner of Canton. She is also survived by five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Private services were held. In her memory, the family requests one say a prayer and bid and make a grand slam.
