Jane Reeder Moorhead age 90 passed away Thursday evening, Jan 19th, 2006 at St. Lukes Nursing Home. Born Aug. 2, 1915, Canton, Ohio, she graduated 1933 from McKinley High School and graduated from Kent Normal School. She attended Kent University, Akron University, and the University of Wisconsin. Preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Harry Reeder and her husband, Robert in 1984. Jane retired as an elementary teacher from the Canton City Board of Education after 36 years. A Past volunteer of American Red Cross for 30 years and also past member of Oakwood Country Club, North Canton Book Club, Ohio Retired Teachers Association, Board of Aultman Home for Aged Women, Tutor for Literacy Program. Jane and Bob were Charter Members of Northminster Presbyterian Church of North Canton. Survived by a step-daughter, Sheryl Moorhead of Kingston, Ohio and a cousin Elizabeth Freriks of Toledo, Ohio. Cremation was requested. A memorial service will be held at Northminster Presbyterian Church Sunday January 22 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Dean Myers officiating.
