James A "Jim" Wayne, 78, of North Canton, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025, after a brief illness. Born December 23, 1946, Jim is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia (George) Wayne; his children, Christi Hodge of North Canton and Mike (Karen) Wayne of Alexandria, Virginia; his grandchildren, Jacob and Emily Hodge; and his sister, Cyndi (Bob) Graf of Conneaut. Jim retired from The J.M. Smucker Company and was an avid golfer and pool player. He was inducted into the Canton Billiards Hall of Fame in 2003 and was a founding member of the Greater Canton Amateur Billiard Association, reflecting his lifelong passion and leadership in the sport. He will be remembered for his love and devotion to family and his lasting impact on the billiards community. The family extends their sincere gratitude to Amherst Meadows Skilled Nursing Facility and Crossroads Hospice for their care and compassion.
