James Stacy, age 85 of Canton formerly of Lake Township, passed away early Monday morning, December 30, 2024, in his home with his family by his side. He was born June 17, 1939, in Madison, West Virginia to George Dewey and Gladys Marie (Welch) Stacy. James was a member of St. Jacobs Lutheran Church and worked for Wilson Rubber and Canton Glove retiring in 2000. He was also a member of Steel Workers Local 5439.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Shirley; daughters and spouses, Robin (Tony) Giovinazzo, Beth (Dearel) White, Lori (Tim) Stillion; Grandchildren, Andrew, RJ, Chelsey, Rachael, Cody, Casey and Great Grandson, Maxx; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Preceded in death by sisters, Geraldine Spurlock, Wanda Sharp; brothers, Cecil "Buddy", Alan Stacy and Bobby Molden.

Calling hours are Friday 4-6:00 p.m. and Saturday 10-11:00 A.M. at St. Jacobs Lutheran Church 1460 State St NE, North Canton. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Angel Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
