James Dean Slider, age 49, of Uniontown, passed away Monday night May 2, 2022 after a courageous battle. He was born in Akron on April 27, 1973. He met and then married Karina Raber on January 11, 2003, and they welcomed three daughters whom he adored. James was a self-made selfless man who worked very hard to provide for his family. He owned and operated several businesses including fitness gyms. His outreaching to others included feeding the homeless, mentoring kids in intercity schools, giving people money when they had needs, and he loved to give advice about business opportunities. The advice James gave to others, his "Life Lessons", will always be remembered and cherished.

He is survived by his wife Karina; daughters Alexis, Payton and Madison; mother Martha Jane; father Donald Slider; siblings including Jimmy (Judy) Bonner; parents-in-law Walter and Mary Louise Raber; siblings-in-law Kevin, Ken (Tammy) Raber; niece Megan (Ryan) Archer; nephews Justin, Evan (Aubrey), Nathan Raber and Marco Almaraz; and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by sister Candi.

Calling hours are Friday 4-8 PM at Evermore Community Church, Hartville. Funeral services are Saturday 11 AM in the church with Pastors Ross Miller and Butch Nisly officiating and will be livestreamed on the church's website and facebook.
