James Joseph Moore, age 45 of Marlboro passed away Monday morning March 20, 2006 in the comfort of his mother's arms. He was born in Akron, OH on October 19, 1960 and graduated from Norton High School. He served in the Navy for 4 years and attended Southern Ohio College. A Finish Carpenter by trade, he worked in many fine homes throughout North East Ohio. He could take a plain piece of wood and make it into something of extraordinary beauty. He was also very accomplished when it came to working with anything electronic. Jim loved music and really enjoyed sitting by a bonfire with his best bud Dave, or when the two of them threw darts or played a long involved game of Risk. Jim's passion was riding Harleys. Preceded in death by his father, James B. Moore Jr.; he is survived by his mother and father, Betty and Philip Zuiderhoek of Marlboro; sister and brother-in-law, Dawn and Keith Ely of Baltic, Ohio; nephew and niece, Keith Philip Ely and Stephanie Nichole Ely; uncle Joe and aunt Pat Sapp of Copley; many cousins; special buddy David Durant of Norton; best of friends, John Baker of Canton, John Spence of Portage Lakes, Jeff Hensel of Canal Fulton, Megan Wilson, Paul and Cheryl Lapidakis; and his best dog friend, Sixx. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home, Hartville. Funeral services will be Monday 1:00 PM in Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg with Paul Rudy officiating.
