James S. McAnaney, age 99, of North Canton, passed away Friday evening, March 17, 2006 in Windsor Medical Center. James was born June 19, 1906 in Canton to Samuel and Eve (Hoover) McAnaney and has been a North Canton resident all of his life. He was a Dental Technician in the offices of Doctors Cain & Cain. Mr. McAnaney was a member of Lathrop Lodge #676 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Canton, Tadmor Shrine and was a charter member of the North Canton Elks. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Irene in 1999. Survivors include nieces, Patsy Clark of Plain Twp. and Elizabeth Woolslayer of North Canton; several grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Tuesday 2:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton with Rev. C. Edwin Houk officiating, Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
