James F. Lee, III, age 80, of North Canton, passed away Saturday morning. He was born in Akron to the late James and Margaret (Schenkenberger) Lee, Jr. James was a 1956 graduate of Canton McKinley High School and served in the National Guard. He retired from East Ohio Gas Company and upon retirement he worked at Seven Hills Country Club. James was a member of the Moose Lodge, AMVETS Post 124 and VFW 3747. He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, golf, bowling and traveling. James is survived by his loving sons, James (Brigitte) Lee, IV and Jeff Lee both of Canton; the mother of James and Jeff, Rebecca Lee; granddaughters, Heather and Megan Lee; siblings, Jeanne Arrendale, Barbara (David) Dodd, Sandra Lee (David), Robert (Janet) Lee and Roberta Lee; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. According to James' wishes there will be no services.
