James Peyton Jolly, age 70, of Canton, passed away in his home Friday morning May 5, 2006. Jim was born in Lakewood, Ohio on September 16, 1935 to the late John and Jane (Durhamer ) Jolly. He graduated from Ohio University in 1959 and was a member of Temple Israel. He left behind his beloved wife and soul mate Hannah. Children, Heather and Matthew Thomas of Sharpsburg, GA and Robert and Jennifer (Gelfand) Jolly of Ridgefield, CT. His greatest pleasures in life were his three grandsons, Peyton Dowd Thomas, Spencer Charles Thomas and Benjamin Davis Jolly. A brother-in-law David Glaser and his partner Pamela Boggs of Beachwood, Ohio and best friends Arlen and Mary Lynn Ahlstrom of Vero Beach, FL. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM in Temple Israel with Rabbi John Spitzer officiating.
