James Delmas Howard Sr., age 77, of Springfield formerly of Hartville passed away on Friday December 24, 2021. He was born in Ironton, Ohio to the late Isaac W. and Carolyn (Collins) Howard. He was a steel worker for 35 years at T & W Forge.

Preceded in death by his wife Betty; son Richard; and 5 siblings. He is survived by family and friends including son and daughter-in-law James (Cathy) Howard; son and daughter-in-law Carl (Linnea) Schmucker; 10 grandchildren and siblings.
