James A. Henderson, age 80, of Hartville passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 in Akron. He was born July 9, 1933 in Denbo, PA to Louis and Mildred (Headley) Henderson. James was a Korean War Veteran serving as a crew chief in the Air Force. He was an estimator and production controller at Akron Standard Mold and SC Manufacturing. He was a devoted husband and a loving father until the end. Especially, he enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife Bebe in 2002 and granddaughter Lindsey in 1999, he is survived by children Loretta (Steve) Carnahan, Jim (Debbie) Henderson, LuAnn (Daryl) Magoulick, Laura (Kevin) Monty; sister Carol (Jack) Pirt; 14 grandchildren Scott, Todd, Heather, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Beth, Kimberly, Ava, Evian, Austin, Alyson, Abbey, Avery; 10 great grandchildren Scott, Caleb, Jaymee, Micah, Destiny, Layla, Patience, Olivia, Kyla, Carson; and close friend Dot. Graveside services will be Wednesday 11:00 a.m. in Mt Peace Cemetery with Pastor Rob Cochran officiating. The Air Force will perform military honors.
