James "Jim" Dramis, age 59 of Canton passed away Sunday afternoon March 11, 2007 in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family. He was born in Canton on July 4, 1947 to the late Vincenzo and Rose (Dasco) Dramis, was a 1965 graduate of Lincoln High School and 1973 graduate of Walsh College. James had been a CPA for American Electric Power for 38 years. He had served in the Army Reserves. Survived by his wife of 37 years, Linda (Snyder); daughter Holly Dramis of Alaska; son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Jennifer Dramis and grandson, Evan of Cincinnati; brother and sister-in-law, Richard "Dick" and Kathy Dramis of Massillon; niece Gretchen and Nick Hull and great-nephew, Carter; mother-in-law, Liz Snyder of Canton. He will be remembered by family and friends as generous, adventurous, loyal and compassionate, with distinguished elegance and charm. He was both unselfish and willful--a noble man. To Celebrate a life lived, the family will receive friends Wednesday 6-9 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday noon at Canton Club South (next to the Canton Classic Car Museum).
