James Edward Clark, I. age 67, of Canton passed away Saturday April 21, 2018. He was born on November 10, 1950 in Ely, Nevada to William Clark and Ragnheidur Elin Jonsdottir Cramer. At age 3 James' family moved to Iceland where he lived until he turned 18. He spent time working at Republic Steel, Park Farms, Ecko, and was an entrepreneur. James enjoyed woodworking, being surrounded by his family, and was an avid BMW motorcycle enthusiast.

James was preceded in death by his brothers Robert and Bill; sister Hilda; daughter Maureen Patricia. James was a loving lover and is survived by his "Main Squeeze," Peggy. He is also survived by his children William (Gudrun) Clark, Rebecca (Philippe) Faucher, Raphael (Karen) Clark, Jasmine (Quinton) Ferguson, James II (Jennifer) Clark; grandchildren Matthias, Tinna, Anton, Michael, Dominic, Kirsten, Raphael II, Aubree, Alixandera, Jackson, Magdalena; sisters Johanna Fortney, Edith (Daniel) Spinner.

James shared his love of music with so many. He loved Pink Floyd, The Doors, The Beatles, Hank Williams Jr., and Nina Simone to name a few. We'd like to invite all who attend his memorial service to wear their favorite band T-shirt to help celebrate his love for great music. Calling hours will be Monday April 30 from 4-6 PM at the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton. A memorial service will begin at 6 PM at the funeral home with funeral celebrant Kevin O'Brien officiating. Cremation will take place following the service.
