James Maddox Bradley, age 81, of Westerville, Ohio, formerly of North Canton, Ohio, died August 6, 2011 at Mount Carmel St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville. Born in Bluefield, WV, July 24, 1930, he moved to Canton in 1952. Mr. Bradley worked for the Hoover Company for 42 years and retired as the General Credit Manager. He was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church in Canton where he and his contemporaries were instrumental in the founding of Camp Wakonda. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Eleanor Bradley, in 2005. He is survived by his 2 daughters, Mrs. Craig (Cathy) Watterson of Westerville, OH, Mrs. Steven (Cindy) Frey of Peoria, AZ, and son, James M.(Cathey)Bradley, II of Phoenix, AZ. Eight grandchildren: Russell, Christy, Matthew, Evan, Austin, James III, Rebecca, and Jessica. He is also survived by his sister Margaret Ann Cook, and brother Robert Bradley of West Virginia. Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Friday in the Spiker-Foster - Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. with Rev. Tim Waggoner officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Wakonda c/o Christ Presbyterian Church 530 Tuscarawas St., W. Canton, OH 44702.
