April 4, 1951 – August 31, 2021
James A. Knoch, age 70, passed away August 31, 2021, at his home in Uniontown after a 6-month brave battle with lung cancer. He was born March 4, 1951 and grew up in Canton. He is a graduate of Perry High School class of 1969 and Kent State University class of 1973. James had a passion for golf and spent numerous rounds on the course with close friends. He worked for A.A. Knoch and Sons, Inc. James was co-owner of Bogies Restaurant in Oakwood Square Shopping Center, and recently was the owner of the Cashmere Cricket in Cuyahoga Falls. James was preceded in death by his father, Paul A. Knoch in 2016; mother Donna Roshong in 2018; brother David in 1996. He is survived by his loving second Mother Pat Knoch; several cousins; and an abundance of friends.
A private burial has taken place at Sunset Hills Burial Park in Canton on September 3, 2021. A celebration of Jimmy's life will be held at a later date. Heartfelt gratitude to the special friends who expressed their love in his care and comfort and a thanks to all the healthcare professionals who helped through his journey. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Camp Wakonda c/o Christ Presbyterian Church 530 Tuscarawas St. West. Canton, Ohio 44702 or a charity of your choice.
