IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jacquelyn
Pendleton
July 24, 1930 – June 22, 2023
Jacquelyn J. Pendleton, age 92, of North Canton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 22nd, at the Inn at Belden Village. She was born in Mansfield, Ohio, on July 24th, 1930, to the late Sidney T. and Julia (Civay) Edwards. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Darrell Lee Pendleton, her parents, and 2 brothers, Sid (Tom) and wife Carol, and Rod (Skip) and wife Margie. Jackie's 2 sisters-in-law survive her. Jackie graduated from McKinley High School, and after her graduation, she worked as a secretary there for several years. Jackie then moved to East Rochester, where she became a secretary at Minerva High School from 1965-2009. While she worked there, she made many wonderful lifetime friends and gained the respect of many students and faculty. What Jackie loved most in life was spending time with her family. Most Sundays, the family would gather at "Mom and Dad's" to have dinner or celebrate a birthday or special occasion. Jackie enjoyed gardening, playing cards, bowling, riding her 3-wheel bike, and especially enjoyed a couple of family vacations to the North Carolina shore. She was an animal lover and, over the years, had many dogs and cats that she treasured.
Jackie is survived by her 4 sons, Mike (Marcia) Pendleton, Matt (Nancy) Pendleton, and Darrell Pendleton, all of Canton, Brian Pendleton of Arlington, VA, and her daughter Maureen Farias of San Diego, CA; 7 grandchildren, Brett Pendleton, Sarah (Bilal) Rasul, Alli (Dan) Kandray, Tyler (Jess) Pendleton, Bianca Farias, Bruce (Stephanie) Fisher, and Michael (Rebecca) Fisher; and 3 great-grandchildren, Michael and Owen Fisher, and Grayson Pendleton.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Inn at Belden Village and Aultman Hospice for the wonderful care they provided to Jackie.
