She was happily married to the love of her life, Bruce, for almost 60 years, before he died in 2000. She took incredible care of him at home for eight years before he passed away. She was also predeceased by her mother and father, Sam and Fannie Levitt, as well as her brothers Harold and Mark Levitt. Jackie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Colleen Frank, her daughter, Kathy Rafoth, grandchildren Ryan (Jennifer) Rafoth, Josh (Marcie) Rafoth, Damon Frank, Tiffany (Brooks) Taber, five great grandchildren, Meghan, Lauren, and Claire Rafoth, Charlie and Henry Taber and sisters-in-law, Pam Levitt and Betty Levitt. Jackie was a long time member of Temple Israel, Hadassah, and Arrowhead Country Club when it was in business. She loved her many volunteer jobs for the Temple Israel Sisterhood, Aultman Hospital, and her volunteer work for the Ohio Reads Program, where she read to first graders at Plain Center School. In her earlier years in Canton she was an avid bowler and golfer. At holiday season, she worked for Bruce at Zales Jewelers. For most of her life, Jackie enjoyed playing cards. When she lived in Texas, she was head of volunteers at Texas Children's Hospital. Jackie graduated from Central High School in Kansas City, Missouri. In the past few years, she enjoyed her time with her friends at Windsor. She very much appreciated the ongoing support from Gail, Peggy, and Laura. A memorial service will be held at the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Rabbi Jon Adland officiating.
