Jacqueline Feldman-Cohen, age 68, of North Canton, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 27, 2017. She was born on November 6, 1949 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Jacqueline will be deeply missed by her family including her husband of 43 years, Rick Cohen; daughter Leaza Cohen and husband Justin Gassman and grandchildren Lucas and Hudson of Columbus; daughter Emma Cohen and her partner Andrew Kaplan of Joshua Tree, California and her sister Caryn Feldman and family of New Jersey. Jacqueline was an avid lover of the outdoors. She loved spending time in her beautiful gardens, hiking, listening to the sounds of the birds and being on the beach collecting beautiful sea shells. Jacqueline touched the lives of countless children and families throughout her 35 years of teaching as an early intervention specialist, spending the majority of her career with North Canton City Schools. She will be remembered as a strong, independent and most importantly a loving person. As per her wishes there will be no services. Donations can be made in her name to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
