Jack Cash, age 88, of Canton passed away, August 23, 2022, following a brief illness. He was born as an only child on July 31, 1934, in Terre Haute, Indiana to Fred and Helen (Laughter) Cash and graduated from Garfield High School. Following high school, he enlisted in the Navy Reserves and graduated from Indiana State University with a business degree. Following his time in school and the service he began a 40-year career in the transportation industry, owning various companies during his career. Jack was past president of the Jaycees in Indiana, member of Canton Rotary, past member of Congress Lake where he served as Social Chairman. Jack enjoyed photography, golfing, and being with his entire family.

Jack is survived by his wife, Phyllis, of 66 years; children Evan (Angela) Cash and Dana (Steve) Hill; grandchildren Evan (Megan) Cash, Ryan Cash, Trent Cash, and Corey Tanksley; great grandson Miles Cash.

A celebration of life visitation will be held Saturday, August 27 from 11AM-1PM at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville at 504 West Maple Street. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
