Ina Marie Grimm, age 85 of Alliance passed away Monday night August 11, 2008. She was born in Stillwater, Ohio on March 29, 1923 to James and Bessie Marie (Ferguson) Whitten and attended Dennison High School. She retired from Teledyne Monarch in 1968 and had worked at the Pantry Restaurant. She was a member of The Chapel in Marlboro. Ina was a member of DAV and Sebring American Legion. She loved music and played the organ and she was an avid bowler. She married Floyd M. Smith in 1940 and Donald C. Grimm in 1962. Preceded in death by parents, step mother, 4 step brothers and 1 step sister, husband and granddaughter Rebecca Smith Davis. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Brenda Smith of Conway, SC; daughter and fiancé, Nancy Kinsley and Mike Winnett of North Canton; grandchildren Bill (Audrey) Smith, Dale Lyn Smith, John Davis, Beverly Stout, Bethany (Chuck) Swogger, Jason (Holly) Kinsley; 13 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Rosa Whitten of Cleveland; and other relatives and friends. Friends may call Thursday 5-8 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. Funeral services will be Friday 11 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Joel Cochran officiating.
