Howard R. White, age 86, of North Canton, passed away Monday evening in Altercare of Nobles Pond. Born in Canton to the late Howard & Florence (Juergens) White he was a life resident. An Army Veteran of WW II, Mr. White was retired from the Hoover Co. where he was a Supervisor of Quality Control. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church of N. Canton, American Legion Post 44, the Disabled American Veterans, and Elks Lodge #2029. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister: Evelyn Erbland and a brother: Glenn R. White. Survivors include his wife of 63 years: Mary O. (Marchand) White. Three daughters: Mrs. Daniel (Cynthia S.) Merkt of Kentucky, Mrs. Daryl (Peggy A.) Noggler of Goshen, OH and Dianne M. Cain of N. Canton. Five grandchildren: Brant & Lauren Merkt, Olivia Noggler, and Crystal & Britney Cain. Three great grandchildren: Azeeza & Joseph Noggler, and Dexter Ullom. Sister: Ardythe J. Tubbs of Canton; Cousins, Vivian Crawford, Mary Alice Goldner and Pat Shaeffer; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 A.M. Monday November 22, 2010 in St. Paul's Catholic Church of North Canton with Fr. Christopher Henyk as officiant. Interment will full military honor's will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
