Howard E. Savage Jr., age 76 of Akron passed away April 27, 2013 surrounded by family. Howard was born on December 16, 1936 in Livingston, Tennessee. The son of the late Howard and Myrtle Savage, Howard was a kind, honorable and fair man who was loved by all. He retired from Goodyear Aerospace after 42 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 55 years Jerre; his children Susan and Laura; his grandchildren Jonathan, Meagan (Jon), Kyel, and Willow; great-grandson Jonah; great-grandson on the way Howard III; brothers Jim and Tim (Pam); and his constant companion Oscar. Preceded in death by sister Jean. A celebration of Howard's Life will be Thursday May 2, 2013 at New Life Episcopal Church, 13118 Church Ave NW, Uniontown with calling hours 5-6 PM and services being promptly at 6 PM with Rev.
