Homer Norman Sherrell Jr. age 51, of Canton, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017. He was born on March 24, 1966 in Canton to the late Homer N. and Ora Mae (Stevenson) Sherrell. Homer was a member of Masjid Al'Rahman Mosque. Also preceded in death by a sister Juanita Vance. He is survived by his wife Christine Sherrell; special god-daughter Shawtiva (Douglas) Strait; step-daughter Donielle (Kyle) Smith; four sisters Leisha (Johnnie) Brack, Tracy (Donavan) Davidson, Brenda Patterson, and Rosemary Young all of Canton God-grandchild Mariah Sherrell and three step-grandchildren Tariq, Isis and Ayden Smith.
