Homer S. Fry, age 88, of Canton passed away Tuesday morning October 21, 2008 at McKinley Health Care Center where he had resided since May 1998. He was born in East Canton, OH on December 30, 1919 to the late John and Gladys (Eagle) Fry. After graduating from McKinley High School, Homer served in the Army during WW II. He retired early from Goodyear Tire and Rubber and enjoyed working around the house and reading books. Homer was a regular at Walther's Café. Preceded in death by his sisters Mrs. Robert (Arlene) Tilk and Mrs. Alfred III (Betty) Pfouts; he is survived by nephew Alfred Pfouts IV of Canton, Stephanie Dieringer of Canton; great nephews and nieces Michelle Pfouts, Alfred Pfouts V, Shawn and Shari Dieringer, Thomas Dieringer; great-great nephews and niece Aaron, Alexis and Austin Dieringer.
