Henry C. White, age 84, of Canton passed away in his home on August 9, 2024, with his family by his side. He was born in Canton on September 15, 1939, to Howard and Rose (Thorn) White and is a proud graduate of Canton McKinley High School. Henry continued his education at Ohio University and earned his master's degree from the University of Akron and he began a 35-year career in teaching. He taught at Perry High School in various business capacities, ultimately retiring as Vocational Director. Henry was an avid Canton McKinley sports fan and a long time member of the Bulldog Athletic Association. He was also a member of Oakwood County Club where he enjoyed golfing with his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife of over 62 years, Renate; children Cathy (Rod) Millhof of Kentucky, Cindy (Doug) Boes of Cleveland, and Ted (Kerri) White of Dayton; grandchildren Kelsey (Dustin) Vowels, Casey (Levi) Davis, Kirsten (Jarrod) Nadzan, Emmy, Justin, Sophia, and Ethan Boes, Jessica, Brandon, Sarah, and Sydney White; great grandchildren Finn, Sawyer, Boaz, Gracelyn, and Bennett. Henry is preceded in death by his siblings Patricia Doumaux and Philip White.

Calling hours will be Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Reedurban Presbyterian Church from 10 – 10:45 AM. Funeral services will be at 11 AM in the church with Pastor Lynn Shetzer officiating.
