Helen Dale Steen, Age 91, of Canton, died Monday March 29, 2010. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 64 years, James H. Steen, her daughters, Pam Bartlett, Julie Brokaw, and Ellen (Dennis) Dolny, and grandchildren Rebecca and Drew Bartlett, Austin (Alice) and Nicholas Bentley, and Meghan, Greg, Meredith, and Madeline Dolny. Born in New Philadelphia, she was a 1940 graduate of Ohio University. She was involved with many civic organizations especially College Club of Canton and Phi Beta Phi Alumni. She was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church where she directed the children's choir for many years. The family will receive family and friends at Christ Presbyterian Church on Thursday 1:30 - 3:15 in the church parlor. A private service will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Christ Presbyterian Church music department or Allay Senior Care.
