Helen M. Reese, age 83, of Hartville, passed away comfortably at her home on Tuesday morning January 12, 2016.

She was born in Akron, Ohio, on July 23, 1932 to Frank and Katarina (Theis) Ritter. A graduate of South High School, she worked at the Craft Shop in Hartville. Several loves of life were being with family and friends, quilting and crafts, gardening and reading.

Preceded in death by her husband Richard H. Reese in 2005; brother and sisters Adam Ritter, Katherine Kilen, Anna (Mickey) Rogers, Theresa Dayton and Rosemary Ulrich. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Susan and Roger Clotts Reese and Paulette and Ronald Green all of Hartville; grandchildren Mathew and Joanna Green of Wisconsin; three great-grandchildren Bryce, Chance and Sophia; and three companion dogs Brinkley, Jozee and Wylee.

A memorial service will be held Sunday 3:00 PM at Arnold Funeral Home Hartville with Pastor Mike Shaub officiating. Receiving of friends will be one hour prior 2-3 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Marlboro Fire Department.
