Helen E. Jewell, age 75, of Canton died Monday evening in Aultman Hospital after an extended illness. A life resident of Canton she attended the Salvation Army. Helen is survived by her husband of 53 years: Roy F. Jewell, Sr. Daughter: Patty Ball of Canton. Three sons: Roy F. Jewell, Jr, Timothy R. Brunner of Canton and James A. Jewell of Florida. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Three sisters: Dorothy Weber of New Philadelphia, Marie Ward and Norma Jean Haddix of Canton. Two brothers: Walter R. and James Brunner of Canton. Funeral service will be on Thursday 1:00 P.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 710 Tuscarawas Street, West with Major Robert E. Myers officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
