Helen M. Flowers, age 95, of Canton, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 in the Emeritus of Canton. Born November 20, 1916 in Canton to Chester A. and Maude (Spring) Flowers. Helen was a graduate of McKinley High School in 1934 and owned the Beauty Chateau in downtown Canton from 1940 to 1987. She was a former member of Westbrook United Methodist Church. Helen was an avid supporter of the Canton Symphony and the Players Guild, loved to travel and was a wonderful baker. She is survived by a cousin, Neil Spring of Canton. She was preceded in death by a brother, Herman in 1936 and a sister, Evelyn in 1998. Funeral services will be Saturday 11:00 a.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton with Pastor John Mather officiating. Interment will be in West Lawn Cemetery.
