Hazel M. Martz, age 94, of Hartville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday night August 31, 2011. She was born in Akron on November 23, 1916 to the late William H. and Crissie Jane (Doak) Davis. Hazel graduated in 1935 from Suffield High School where she was president of her senior class. She was married to Glenn L. Martz for just under 50 years until he passed away in 1987. The most important job in her life was raising her six children in Hartville. Survived by her children Bob, Larry, Gene (Rebecca), Kellis (Carol) and Bonni Frank; 18 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; siblings Bernice Held and Kurt Davis; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her son Scott; grandson Scott Raymond; and siblings Crissie Jane, Dorothy, Melvin, Bill, Glen, Gurdon and Paul. The family wishes to express deep gratitude to the staff of Windsor Medical Center, Aultman Hospice and Cambridge Home Health Care.
