Harry J. Daniels, age 92, of North Canton, passed away Tuesday March 23, 2010. Born in Apple Creek, Ohio on November 11, 1917 to Leslie and Nora (Hodge) Daniels, he served in the Air Force during WW II. He was a service technician for local appliance stores and a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church. For 24 years, he was a volunteer auxiliary officer for the Ohio State Highway Patrol. He was the strength of the family and his positive attitude was greatly appreciated and admired. He will be missed by all. Preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Betty J. (Essig) Daniels in 1991; he is survived by daughter Patti Ehret of North Canton who has lived with and cared for her dad the past 18 years, daughter and son-in-law Sue and Jeff Zimmerman of Richardson, TX; grandchildren Shannon Blackburn, Stacy Dorkoff, Shelley Fogel, Greg Zimmerman, Julia Zimmerman. He was blessed with 7 great-grandchildren with an additional 2 on the way. A Graveside service will be held Friday 2 PM at Forest Hill Cemetery's Mausoleum with Pastor Mark Williams officiating.
