Harold W. Frutschy, age 93, of Canton, passed away Saturday afternoon in the Aultman Compassionate Care Center. He was born in Canton to the late Warner and Mabel (Dunn) Frutschy, he was a life resident. Harold was a 1938 Canton McKinley High School graduate and owner of Frutschy T.V. retiring after 30 years. Harold was a motion picture operator for 45 years for various movie houses in the county. He was a member of First Church of the Resurrection and had served on the board of directors for McKinley Alumni Association. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth Frutschy in 1997 and a sister; Edna Mae Bachtel. Harold is survived by daughters: Martha Killby of Canton, Carol (Dan) Swank of Orient, Ohio, Peggy (John) Mather of Canton, Ohio and Sue (Larry) Linerode of Canton. Sons; James (Kathy) Frutschy of Canton and Richard (Brenda) Frutschy of Anaheim, California. Brother; John Frutschy of Massillon. 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren also survive. A private memorial service will be held for the family with inurnment in Forest Hill Cemetery. A celebration for family and friends will be 11:00 to 1:00 Tuesday, in First Church of the Resurrection for all to attend. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to McKinley Alumni Association P.O.
